Mike Refakis practices business litigation and business transactions. He has represented companies and individuals in a wide variety of disputes, including those arising from contract, insurance coverage, employment, and variety of torts. Mike has represented clients in a variety of commercial transactions, including the acquisitions and dispositions of assets and businesses, the preparation and negotiation of commercial real property leases, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and the preparation and negotiation of diverse commercial contracts.
Prior to becoming “of counsel” to Pesek & Helms, LLP in 2010, Mike founded Refakis, P.C. in 2007. Before founding Refakis, P.C., Mike spent many years with Banowsky & Levine, P.C., a Dallas, Texas law firm.
Mike received his law degree from The SMU Dedman School of Law in 1998. In addition, he earned a B.A. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1995.
Mike is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mike is a Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5656, at St. Monica Catholic Church, in Dallas, Texas. Mike is also a member of the St. Thomas More Society. |
